Your Summer in Photos is a fun, feel-good challenge to help you get more from your phone camera, enjoy taking photos again, and capture the magic in everyday moments.

No fancy gear. No filters. No pressure to post.

Just easy prompts, helpful tips, and a bit of creative encouragement.

Who it’s for

- You’d like to get better at taking photos with your phone

- You want simple tips to improve your shots without technical faff
- You enjoy creative challenges that don’t feel like hard work
- You love the idea of capturing little summer moments
- You want to actually use some of the photos you take
- You’d like to do something just for you - with no pressure and no posting required.

How it works

The challenge runs from Monday 28th July to Friday 29th August 2025.

- A small selection of photo prompts to try
- A short tip or video to help you take better photos, or edit them
- An email with everything for the week, so it’s all in one place
- Access to a relaxed space in my Facebook group, if you’d like to share your photos or join the chat.

You can dip in and out, take photos just for yourself, or join in with the group - whatever works for you. There’s no pressure and no daily posting, just a chance to enjoy taking photos with your phone and noticing the little things.

Hello! I’m Helen – a Canva and content coach, and a big fan of making creativity feel simple and enjoyable.

While I usually help small business owners create content without the tech stress or design overwhelm, this challenge is a little different. It’s not about business - it’s about taking more photos just because you want to.

I’ve always loved capturing little everyday moments, and I believe you don’t need a fancy camera to take lovely photos. A phone, a fresh perspective, and a bit of practice go a long way.

I created Your Summer in Photos as a relaxed, feel-good space to play with your phone camera, try new things, and enjoy the process. I hope you’ll join in.
